Cavs Stun the Los Angeles Lakers less LeBron James

NBA – The Los Angeles Lakers host the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Both teams are coming from a loss where one team is going to get back in the winning column. 

LeBron’s former team Cleveland Cavaliers are in 12 – game losing streak the worst in the league with 8 wins and 35 losses.


While LeBron James current team Los Angeles Lakers is currently 8th seeded team in the West prior to the game and in must win situation tonight against the Cavs.

LeBron James is obviously out in tonight’s game and now will miss his 10th straight game this season the most in his career due to a groin injury.

Lakers are obviously the favorite to win in tonight’s game, especially at their home? Will the Cavs stun the Lakers, especially if its LeBron James new team?

In the game, the Cavaliers start strong taking an early lead in the game to take the 1st quarter leading by 8 points 32 – 24.

In the 2nd quarter, the Lakers able to cut the Cavs lead to a single point at the half, but remain fall behind in the game at 51 – 46 Cavs by 5 points.

In the 3rd quarter, the Cavs regains a double digit lead ending the quarter, up by 10 points 75 – 65.

In the 4th and final quarter, the Lakers had their chances to cut the Cavs lead within 3 points in the last minute of regulation, but fall short and just to loss to another heart breaking end game collapse due to miserable free throw shooting tonight against the worst team in the league.

Lakers continue to struggle without LeBron James which put them now tied with the Utah Jazz in 8th and 9th places in the West with both 23 wins and 21 losses. Lakers are also now in 2 – game losing skid and currently 3 wins and 7 losses without LeBron James in the lineup.

Meanwhile, LeBron’s former team the Cleveland Cavaliers snaps a 12 – game losing streak and now improve to 9 wins and 35 losses but remains the worst record in the league.
