Philippines - The Social Security System or SSS just added another feature on their SSS Website where the user's has given two options on how to LOG IN their SSS Account via SMS OTP or SSS One Time Password which is sent through SMS and the other one is SSS TOTP or SSS Time-based One-Time Password.
The SMS OTP or One Time Password is sent through text to the SSS registered mobile number by the user and once the user received the OTP he or she will input the OTP code to open their SSS Account.

Due to the delayed outcome of OTP Code sent via SMS, the SSS added the SSS TOTP or SSS Time-based One-Time Password where the user must enable the TOTP on their SSS Website to be able to access the features.
1. Open or Login to SSS Account Online.
2. Click this Icon.
Here is the Step by step guide on how to Enable the SSS TOTP or SSS Time-based One-Time Password.
1. Open or Login to SSS Account Online.
2. Click this Icon.
3. Click Setup Time-based One-Time Password.
4. Type your SSS Account Password and then click Next.
5. Download the Authenticator for desktop user's while Google Authenticator for mobile phone user's. take note: saved the QR Code in Option 1, while in Option 2 is the Secret code. both code are important in using the Google Authenticator.
6. Type the One Time Pin sent in to your Google Authenticator. Take Note: The Authenticator has time limit so type the Pin as soon as possible.
7. You have successfully enabled the TOTP feature on your SSS Account, now try to Login your account.
8. Type your USER ID and Password and then click Sign In.
9. Click Get Pin on your SSS TOTP or SSS Time-based One-Time Password.
10. Open your Authenticator on your Apps to get the OTP or One Time Pin and then enter the code and click LOGIN.
That's it you have now access the SSS TOTP features, you can use this option instead of the SSS OTP but you can still use the SSS OTP anytime.
