NBI Clearance Increases to P130 Starting March 12, 2018

Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation has released a public announcement that their services for people that will be acquiring or securing an NBI Clearance has now increased its service fee, The increase is due to the new law sign by President Rodrigo Duterte that falls under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law that has already started in the beginning of this year.


According to the new law NBI Clearance will have a new and higher service fee that will climb to P130.00 per transaction for new applicant and old applicants starting March 12, 2018. The increase is not too significant because it only costs an additional of P15.00 from the current cost of P115.00 that until now it still implemented today until March 11, 2018 only.

Meanwhile, Netizen’s had their different reactions on the upcoming increase in NBI Clearance service fee some are not in favored of the increase while others don’t mind the increase at all?

NBI Clearance remains as one of the most important government documents in the country aside from Police Clearance, PSA Certificate and others. It is usually used in applying for a job here and abroad while others used it in government transactions and personal identifications.

Acquiring an NBI Clearance is also done easily today, it can be done by applying online as well as paying online before going to any accredited NBI branch or kiosk all over the country.
