Early in the game the Pacers dominated the Cavaliers lead by Paul George who singly outscored the whole Cavs in the 2nd quarter to post their biggest lead of 26 points and made a Pacers franchise record for the most points scored in the 1st half in their franchise history with 74 points.
The Bankers Life Fieldhouse was filled of life and excitement as Pacers home crowd are enjoying a very large lead for what could be a possible beginning for their home team to return back to the series by winning Game 3 at their house despite being down 0 -2 in the series.
In the 2nd half, especially in the 3rd quarter the Pacers manage to hold on to their lead by as much 20 points not until the last 4 minutes of the quarter when LeBron James lead the Cavs in a 17 – 4 run to end the 3rd quarter just down by 7 points 84 -91.
Early in the 4th quarter the Pacers manage to up their lead back to double digit after a 5 points straight scored by Paul George but the LeBron James perseverance of returning back, imposing his will to help his team win despite that his co superstar Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving are both sitting in the bench for the entire 4th quarter and with the help of some Cavs bench players like Kyle Korver, Channing Frye and Deron Williams, to find the right combination and showing some defense that mostly lacks the team in the last quarter has overcome a historic comeback in Playoffs history.
LeBron James lead all scorer with 41 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists making his 17th triple doubles in his playoffs career only second to Magic Johnson in all-time triple doubles in playoffs history. While Pacers superstar Paul George came up with 36 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists.
Game 4, is scheduled once again in Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday April 23 (US TIME).
