Philippines - The country has been shaking for the last 2 weeks and the government is taking all necessary steps to remind the citizens to be careful and be prepared in case a strong earthquake happens.
As the day goes by, the country has been experiencing continuous earthquakes in different parts of the country, mostly in Visayas and Mindanao area ever since the September 30, 6.9 magnitude earthquake happen that hit the Northern Cebu.

On October 10, another strong earthquake hit the country and this time a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit the province of Davao Oriental. The quake also raised a possible tsunami in nearby provinces. Both earthquakes lead to several casualties and damage to property.
Inside the Building during Earthquake:
1.Stay Calm.
2. Duck and hide under a sturdy table.
3.Stay away from glass window, cupboard and heavy things that might fall.
4. After the Earthquake, immediately get out of the building and go to the nearest safe place or evacuation area.
What to do when Earthquake happen outside the Building:
1. Go to an Open Area.
2.Stay away from the nearest building, tress, large post and places that will cause landslide.
3. If Driving, pull over and stop the car.
2. Check yourself and companions for any injuries.
3. If you are at the beach and there is a tsunami threat, immediately evacuate and go to higher ground.
4. Check for spilled toxic chemicals and things that could start a fire.
5. Do not return to the building until notified that it is safe.
6. Check the water and electrical lines for possible damage and also check the gas or LPG tank for possible leaks.
In addition, always prepare for Emergency Kits for whatever Calamity that would happen in the country.
