LTO Driver's License schedule of renewal for expired license from April 1 - Sept. 30

Philippines - The Land Transportation Office or LTO announced on Thursday October 5, 2023, that the long awaited License Card or Plastic Card for Driver's License has been delivered and its schedule to distribute to all accredited LTO District Offices.

LTO also announce the schedule of renewal for all expired Drivers License's from April 1 to September 30, 2023. The extension was given due to lack or shortage of Driver's License Card and the conflict between two Government Agencies, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and Department of Transportation (DOTr). that causes the delayed issuance of Driver's License plastic card.


All Expired Driver's License has given a different schedule to renew their licenses to avoid overcrowding aside from the schedule the LTO also reminds the holder of expired Driver's License that failure to comply with the scheduled date of renewal will be given proper penalties upon renewal.

Here is the list of the scheduled date of Driver's License Renewal from April 1 - September 30, 2023


1. April 1 - 30, 2023 - Renewal date: October 6 - 31, 2023

2. May 1 - 31, 2023 - Renewal date: November 1 - 30, 2023

3. June 1 - 30, 2023 - Renewal Date: December 1 - 31, 2023

4. July 1 - 31, 2023 - Renewal Date: January 1- 31, 2024

5. August 1 - 31, 2023 - Renewal Date: February 1 - 29, 2024

6. September 1- 30, 2023 - Renewal date: March 1 - 31, 2024


Meanwhile, all Driver's License who already renewed their license and were only given a temporary license or paper printed Driver's License, has to go back to their licensing offices or the place of renewal to present the receipt of payment to be able to issue the plastic version or the physical Driver's License.
