Warriors advance to the 2nd Round of Playoffs eliminating the Sacramento Kings

NBA – The #6 seed the reigning and defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors visit the #3 seed Sacramento Kings for Game 7 of their own best of seven series in Round 1 of the 2022 - 2023 NBA Playoffs at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

The winner of the series faces the already awaiting #7 seed the Los Angeles Lakers who eliminated the #2 seed Memphis Grizzlies. The winner of Game 7, host the LA Lakers in Game 1 for the Western Conference Semifinal best of seven series.


Back in the game, in the 1st quarter, both teams had several lead changes, but the home team manages to win the quarter 31 – 30 up just by a point.

In the 2nd quarter, both teams are almost evenly equal in scoring points, the Kings outscored the Warriors 27 – 26 to finish the half up by just 2 points 58 -56.

In the 3rd quarter, the Warriors posted the 1st double digit lead of the game, Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry led the Warriors in scoring that leads to a 10 point lead at the end of the 3rd 91 – 81 Warriors up by 10 points, the Warriors also outscored the Kings in the quarter 35 – 23.

In the 4th and final quarter, Stephen Curry exploded for 16 points that leads to a huge momentum to control the game over the Kings. Kings never find their way to get back in the game as the Warriors closest the series in Game 7, 120 – 100. a 20 point deficit outscoring the Kings in the final quarter 29 – 19.

Stephen Curry dropped a monster performance with 50 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, while the Sacramento Kings led by Domantas Sabonis with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

With the Warriors wins, the rivalry between Stephen Curry and LeBron James relieved once again as the Warriors host the Lakers in Game 1 of the West Semi-Conference Finals at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
