Patrick Beverly joins LeBron and the Lakers via Trade

NBA - The Los Angeles Lakers made a bold move this NBA Off-Season after they traded their two young players in exchange for an older Utah Jazz Point Guard Patrick Beverly just last week August 25, 2022.

The Lakers sent the 26 years old Small Forward Stanley Johnson and 21 years old Shooting Guard Talen Horton-Tucker to Utah Jazz via trade and receive 34 years old Point Guard Patrick Beverly.

The Trade must be a little questionable from any Lakers fan or even NBA fans which why the Lakers trade two young players for one older player? Maybe because the older player can give some toughness to the team that the Lakers haven't seen two these young guys?

Patrick Beverly is known for his toughness on defense plus his annoying attitude in the game, which perhaps can help the Lakers every time when Beverly is inside the game?

Aside from that former Laker Talen Horton-Tucker, who once believe that will be the future of the Lakers has made a low impact last season affecting his trade value which has been down significantly unlike the season where the Lakers won the NBA Championship he has been the apple of the eye for some team and wants him via trade? But the Lakers decline it.

Patrick Beverly will be a good addition for the Lakers this season, he will have some minutes into the game, but the Lakers will still rely on LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Russell Westbrook will be a big question this season?

For Talon Horton-Tucker, the guy is still young and perhaps his moments will come like the young players from Lakers that also sent via a trade that blossom in other teams and made an impact for their names.

What did you think of this trade? Did the Los Angeles Lakers make the right move?
