Typhoon Florita affects first day of School in Luzon

Philippines - A weather system is affecting the northern part of the country and nearby provinces on the very first day of the 2022 - 2023 School Year return since the world wide "Pandemic".

According to reports Tropical Depression " Florita" intensifies into Tropical Storm this morning August 22, 2022 the same day where many students are going back to school after a 2 year online and modular schooling at home.


Since there will be an expected rain for today and tomorrow it will bring light to moderate and sometimes heavy rain, students are warned to have extra precautions on or before going to school and must bring an umbrella to avoid wet in the rain.

At the time like this, especially this rainy seasons students must avoid getting wet in the rain to avoid flu, cough and even fever and aside from that they're still the Global Pandemic that we continue to monitor from here on and moving forward.

The storm is expected to continue its tract at the northern part of Luzon moving west-southwestward in the next 12 hours and expected to remain a Tropical storm until it passes through the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). 

The storm is expected to make a landfall in Cagayan or the Northern part of Isabela, Heavy rains are expected to pour in the said provinces including Batanes and Aurora. Central Luzon will also experience light to moderate rain, including Manila and even Calabarzon.

The weather disturbance is expected to affect the country's weather conditions from this Monday through Thursday.
