Boston Celtics even the series in Game 2 win Over the Miami Heat

NBA - The #1 seed Miami Heat host the #3 seed Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals in their own best of seven series at FTX Arena in Miami Florida.

The Miami Heat holds the home court advantage where Game's 1 and 2 will be held at their home, they have already beaten the Celtics in Game 1 and looking to go for another win in Game 2 at home before going to Celtics Arena.


In the 1st quarter, The Boston Celtics had a strong start outscoring the Heat by 11 points, 35-24 protecting a double digit lead at the end of the earlier quarter.

In the 2nd quarter, The Celtics continue their hot start pushing their lead to even bigger as they outscored the Heat by 14 points, 35-21 to finish the half time 70-45, Celtics up by 25 points.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown lead the Celtics in scoring with 20 points and 15 points respectively, while the Heat superstar Jimmy Butler is the only Heat player in double digit with 13 points.

The Celtics had also had a good start in the 1st half of Game 1 and with a commanding lead at the half up by 8 points 62-54. But the Heat rallies back in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Celtics by 25 points, 39-14 and end the 3rd up by 17 points and never look back to win Game 1.

In the 3rd quarter, Heat Small Forward Jimmy Butler exploded for 16 points in the quarter along with his total of 29 points in 3 quarters, but the Celtics don't want to happen the same mistakes in Game 1 of the 3rd quarter as the quarter ends even at 26-26. Celtics lead remains at 25 points.

In the 4th and final quarter, The Celtics never look behind and the Heat never find their way to get back in the game. Celtics lead ballooned to 30 plus points several times in the quarter but both teams ended the quarter 31-31 to end the game 127-102 Celtics by 25 points.

The series are now tied 1 -1 and the Celtics snatch the home court advantage for Game 3 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts
