Dallas Mavericks Ends Denver Nuggets 5 – Game Winning Streak

NBA – The 8th seed Dallas Mavericks (19 – 17) win – loss record visit the Co Western Conference Team and currently 5th seeded the Denver Nuggets (22 – 15) win – loss record in Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

The Dallas Mavericks loss their last assignment against the Oklahoma City Thunder and trying to bounce back against the hottest team in the West the Denver Nuggets with 5 – game winning streak and perhaps extend their winning streak at the expense of Dallas.


In the game, the first quarter is almost an even quarter match for both team’s where the Nuggets are just ahead by a point 29 – 28.

In the second quarter, Dallas outscored the Nuggets by 12 points, 34 – 22 to end the halftime up by 11 points, 62 – 51.

In the third quarter, Dallas controlled the entire quarter, maintaining their double digit lead and once again outscoring the Nuggets by 9 points 31 – 22. Dallas finished the quarter, up by 20 points 93 – 73.

In the fourth and final quarter, the game is pretty much over, although the Nuggets able to outscored the Mavs 30 – 23 but all of these are in garbage time. Dallas snaps Nuggets winning streak 116 – 103.

Dallas center Kristaps Porziņģis lead the Mavs in scoring with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist, Dallas star player Luka Dončić added a double double performance with 21 points, 12 assists and 5 rebounds and Josh Richardson with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.

Meanwhile, for the Nuggets, star player Nikola Jokić drop 26 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds, Will Barton added 23 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists, Michael Porter Jr. also added 23 points, 8 rebounds and finally Jammal Murray was limited to 10 points, 5 assist and 2 rebounds.

Dallas next assignment is the Los Angeles Clippers while the Nuggets are facing the Indiana Pacers.
