Denver Nuggets End Lakers 7 – Game Winning Streak

NBA – The Denver Nuggets host the visiting LA Lakers for their second meeting of the 2020 – 2021 NBA Regular Season at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

Prior to game both teams are in winning streak, the reigning NBA Champion LA Lakers are in 7 – game winning streak while the host team Denver Nuggets are in 2 – game winning streak.


In the game, the first quarter is evenly match as both teams end the early quarter tied at 33 – 33.

In the second quarter, the Nuggets outscored the Lakers by 12 points, 73 – 61 at the half. It is also the same quarter where Lakers superstar Anthony Davis re aggravated his Achilles injury where he already nursing in the past days and was also sidelined for several games.

In the third quarter, the Nuggets continue their assault with Lakers less Anthony Davis outscoring the Lakers 30 – 24 to finish the quarter 103 – 85 up by 18 points.

In the fourth and final quarter, the Nuggets able to hang on to their double digit lead and completely controlled the game that lead to 122 – 105 win over the Lakers as they even their season match 1 -1.

The Lakers have no chance of coming back in the game as Anthony Davis was ruled out for the remainder of the second half. LeBron James the best player for both teams has been quiet in the second half only scoring 4 points in the entire half.

LeBron James finished the game with a near triple double 22 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assist in 31 minutes of game in losing effort.

Nuggets center Nikola Jokic finished the game with a triple double 23 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists in 35 minutes of the game.

Lakers snap their 7 – game winning streak, but remain solo second in the western conference with 21 wins and 7 losses, while the Nuggets improve to 15 wins and 11 losses currently at 7th place in west standings.
