Golden State Warriors Wins Back to Back NBA Champion

NBA – The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the 2018 NBA Finals at Quickens Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. 

The Cavs are looking to extend their series into Game 5 preventing them from 4th elimination match this post season while the Warriors are looking to end the series tonight in a sweep or go home for Game 5 at Oracle Arena to end the series at home. 


In the 1st quarter, the Warriors came out with a hot start posting an early double digit lead behinds Stephen Curry’s hot shooting as early in the game, Curry scored 12 points to lead the Warriors in scoring and giving his team a 9 point deficit at the end of the quarter 34 – 25.

In the 2nd quarter, the Cavs came back strong in the game after being down by 11 points, they able to take their first lead of the game 39 – 38 with 7:10 to go in the 2nd but the Warriors regain their lead to finish the 1st half and back again their lead to 9 points 61 – 52.

At the half, Warriors guard Stephen Curry leads all scorers with 20 points while LeBron James scored 16 points for the Cavs.

In the early minutes of the 3rd quarter, the Warriors made a 6 – 0 run to up their lead to 15 points. Cavs quickly called a time out before this game gets out of hand? But the Warriors continue their dominance in the 3rd putting their largest lead of the game with 21 points 86 – 65 with over a minute to go to put the Cavs crowd into silence. LeBron James scored only 4 points in the 3rd all on free throws with no field goals.

In the 4th and final quarter, it’s all a total domination by the Golden State Warriors putting another largest lead of the game with 28 points 102 – 74 and limiting LeBron James in just 7 points with only 1 field goal in the 2nd half. Stephen Curry finishes the game with game high 37 points while Kevin Durant added 20 points. For the Cavs, LeBron James scored 23 points his lowest output this 2018 NBA Finals.

Warriors completed the sweep in Game 4, 108 – 85 over the Cavs, while Kevin Durant named as the back to back Finals MVP.

Meanwhile, Cavs superstar LeBron James might be seen his last game as a Cavalier after this Game 4 loss. James has now dropped to 3 and 6 in the Finals, losing the last 3 out of the 4 NBA Finals against the Warriors.
