LeBron Breaks NBA Record for most Consecutive Double Digit points per Game

NBA – Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has added another milestone in his illustrious NBA Career as he surpassed the “GOAT” Michael Jordan and became the new holder of NBA Records for the most consecutive double digit points scored in every game played.

James joined Michael Jordan in league’s record of 866 consecutive games with 10 points or more points in their last game against Charlotte Hornets the team that Michael Jordan currently owns.

In tonight’s game, James would have the best opportunity to set the league record on his name in front of all Cavaliers fans as the Cavaliers host the visiting New Orleans Pelicans in their final meeting this season at Quickens Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Both teams are in playoff contention, the Cavaliers has already bagged a playoff spot and currently sitting 3rd in the East while the Pelicans at 6th spot in the West are in a must win situation tonight to get a better chances of making the playoff?

As expected LeBron James delivered his 867 consecutive double digit points after making 11 points in the 1st quarter of the Cavs/Pelicans game. James starts the game strong with a mission of breaking Jordan’s record where it has been there in NBA record books since December of 2001.

James, who plays his 15th season in the league is arguably the only player in history to play at this high level since his rookie season, though he’s not the favorite of winning in this year MVP still he is the best player on the planet.

According to league records, the last time that LeBron James missed a double digit point was on Jan. 5, 2007, when he scored only 8 points on 3-for-13 shooting in a Cavs win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Now who’s next inline that will break LeBron James newly accomplished milestone? this could be a hard one to break for so many years?
