Gregg Popovich and Tyronn Lue, Name As Coaches in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game

San Antonio Spurs, Head Coach Gregg Popovich, was name to coach the West team All-Star, in the upcoming 2016 NBA All-Star Game.

Despite the Spurs, being only second in the Western Conference, after the defending champion Golden State Warriors, who currently hold the best record in the West.


GSW Head Coach, Steve Kerr, was not name to coach the West Team, due to last year All-Star Game, where he coach the West Team. According to league rules; no coach should have a back to back All-Star Coach.

The 2016 NBA All-Star Game, will be the 4th appearance of Coach Popovich, he will lead the West All-Star, with his Starting Five, top vote getter for this year All-Star, (Lakers) Kobe Bryant, reigning MVP (GSW) Stephen Curry, (Spurs) Kawhi Leonard, and (OKC) duo Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook.

Meanwhile, counterpart East Conference, name Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach, Tyronn Lue, to lead the East Team All-Star. The coaching for the East, face controversy after many thoughts that Coach Lue, is not deserving to coach the East and it should be Toronto Raptors Head Coach Dwane casey.

But the league has already decide that Coach Tyronn Lue, will be leading the East Team All-Star in the upcoming 2016 All-Star Game.

Starter’s for the East All-Star are: (Cavs) LeBron James, (Heat) Dwane Wade, (Knicks) Carmelo Anthony, (Pacers) Paul George and (Raptor’s) Kyle Lowry.

The 2016 NBA All-Star Game, will happen in Toronto, Canada. The very first time that an All-Star Game, will be held outside the US Country.
