Jazz Handed the Cavs 3rd Straight Loss on LeBron James Special Day

NBA – The Cleveland Cavaliers has loss their last three straight out of town games and lately to the Utah Jazz on the day that LeBron James is celebrating his 33rd birthday with a 104 - 101 loss at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Prior to the game the East 3rd seeded Cleveland Cavaliers is trying to bounce back from 2 – game losing skid while the host team and currently 10th in the West, Utah Jazz is also trying to bounce back from a blown out loss to defending champion Golden State Warriors.


In the game, the Cavaliers had a strong start in the early quarter, posting their biggest lead of 14 points and outscoring the home team 32 – 22 in the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter, the home team (Jazz) manages to chop the visiting team (Cavs) lead after falling down by as much as 12 points in the quarter to end the 1st half down only by 3 points 48 – 51.

In the 2nd half, the Jazz regains the lead since the 1st quarter and managed to put up a double digit lead while the Cavaliers came out flat, the Jazz finished the quarter, up by 7 points 76 – 69 outscoring the visiting team 28 – 16 in the 3rd quarter.

In the 4th quarter, the Cavaliers manage to cut down the Jazz lead into single points for the last time 97 – 98 with 1:35 to go in regulations, but the home team manages to hang on to their lead and gets the win to bounce back in the winning column 104 – 101 Jazz by 3 points.

LeBron James finished the game on not so good birthday game with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assist while point guard Mitchell lead the Jazz with 29 points.

The defending Eastern Conference Champion has now loss 4 out of their last 5 games after showing some treat to the Boston Celtics for the top seeded in the East. Despite the 3 consecutive loss the Cavaliers remain in 3rd spot in the East and trying to figure out to get back to winning column?
