New look Cavaliers Annihilated the Celtics in their Final Meeting

NBA – The Boston Celtics host the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers for the 3rd and final meeting this season at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Both teams are currently even in their season match where the Cavaliers won the first meeting in season opener at Quickens Loan Arena while the Celtics retaliates in their 2nd meeting at TD Garden.


Before the game the Celtics are currently 2nd in East standing and a win will regain the top seed in the East while the Cavaliers is looking for their 3rd straight wins and parading their new looks with the addition of some new and young players with the likes of Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr., Rodney Hood and Jordan Hill.

In the game, the 1st quarter is pure excitement for both teams, especially Boston fans cheering for Kyrie Irving everything he faces his former teammates LeBron James in offensive possession while crowd booing everything LeBron James has the ball. The quarter had several lead changes, but the home team had a slight edge after winning the quarter 32 – 31.

In the 2nd quarter, LeBron James and the new look Cavalier seem rejuvenated as the team slowly pulling away in the quarter as they outscored the Celtics 33 – 20 to end the 1st half leading by 12 points 64 – 52. LeBron James leads the Cavaliers in scoring at the half with 17 points while Kyrie Irving leads the Celtics in scoring with 16 points.

In the 3rd quarter, Cavs continue their domination over the Celtics as the game gone through into blown out fashion, Kyrie Irving has no answer for the Celtics while LeBron leads his new team in complete annihilation over the Celtics. Cavs wins the quarter 31 – 22 with a commanding 21 point lead.

In the 4th and final quarter, LeBron James sits down and lets Cavs role players finish the game. James scored game high 24 points in just 27 minutes with 10 assists and 8 rebounds, short of another triple double which possibly extended to 3rd consecutive triple double if he play in the final quarter?

New Cavs players with their sparkling debut gives another scoring options George Hill the new starting point guard scored 12 points while Jordan Clarkson added 17 points, Rodney Hood with 15 points and Larry Nance with 5 points.
