Paul Georges Joins Team LeBron in the upcoming All-Star Game

NBA – The Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George will be included in the upcoming 2018 All-Star Game at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on February 18, 2018 (US TIME). 

George was named by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to replace New Orleans Pelicans center/power forward Demarcus Cousins after suffering a season ending Achilles injury.


George was actually not included in this year All-Star Game he was not voted as a Starters and not even included in the Reserves lineup, which many sports analysts thinks he is one of many NBA superstar that was greatly snub from the upcoming 67th All-Star?

But due to an unexpected injury happen to 4 – time All-Star Demarcus Cousins, George was announced to replace Cousins to join Team LeBron as a Starter and made his 5th All-Star.

George will join Team Captain and overall top vote getter LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers who in his 14th All-Star appearances along with his co-starter are Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors in his 9th All-Star, Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics in his 5th All-Star and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans in his 6th All-Star to complete the starting five of Team LeBron. While Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey will be the coach for Team LeBron.

Meanwhile, their opponent is Team Stephen with Team Captain Stephen Curry, who gain the top votes for the West, Curry of the Golden State Warriors is entering his 5th All-Star appearances, his Co starters are James Harden of the Houston Rockets in his 6th All-Star, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks in his 2nd All-Star, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76rs on his 1st All-Star and last but not the least is DeMAr DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors in his 4th All-Star, Team Steph will be coached by Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni.
