Cavs Crush Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals

NBA Playoffs – The Boston Celtics will host the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Td Garden in Boston. The Celtics are looking to bounce back from a blown out game in Game 1 and hopefully tied the series 1-1 before going to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4. While the defending champion will try to win Game 2 to take a 2 – 0 commanding lead in the series and hopefully ends the series at home at Quickens Loans Arena in Cleveland.

In the 1st Half of Game 2, its all Cleveland Cavaliers show, posting an early double digit lead 21 -10 with 4:38 to go in the 1st quarter. Since then the Cavaliers completely dominated the game, especially in the 2nd quarter where they outscored the Celtics 40 -13. A complete domination lead by LeBron James, who lead all scorers at the half with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assist, Kevin Love added 18 points in a another great game, and Kyrie Irving with 14 points.

The Cavaliers also registered the biggest deficit at the half in NBA Playoffs with 41 point deficit after JR Smith beat the Buzzer at the half with a half time score 72 – 31.

In the 2nd half, after being down by 41 points the Celtics received another bad news after their #1 player Isiah Thomas was hurt and announce of not returning for the remainder of the game. The Cavs continue their domination posting their biggest lead of the game of 49 points, 102 – 53 after Kyle Korver hits a 3’s with 1:14 remaining in the 3rd. after 3 quarters of playing the Cavs enjoys a commanding 46 point lead 103 – 57.

In the 4th quarter, both teams starting five are already resting as their bench player comes up to play the garbage time and only awaits for the final score of the game. The Cavs bench player manages to up their biggest lead of the game with 51 points 113 – 62 with 9:16 to go in the final quarter.

LeBron James finished the game with 30 points his eight straight 30 plus points of the 2017 NBA Playoffs. While Isiah Thomas, who play only in the 1st half was held down to 2 points.

Cav's now lead the series 2 - 0 and will try to wrap the series at home for games 3 and 4.
