CAVS Sweep Pacers Moves on to the 2nd Round of NBA Playoffs

NBA – The defending Champion Cleveland Cavaliers has beaten the Indiana Pacers in Game 4, 106 – 102 to move on to the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs and will have to await the winner between the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors in their own best of seven series. The Cavaliers are the first team to advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs after sweeping the Indiana Pacers, in another thrilling end game in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Cavs once again blew a double digit lead coming of the 4th quarter 88 – 77 where the Pacers outscored them in the final quarter 25 – 18. But luckily the Cavs hangs on to win Game 4, after Paul, George missed a terrible 3 point shot that could tie the game and extend to overtime?

The Pacers made a run in the 4th quarter to give their team and fans a last hope to win game 4 after trailing the game for most of the time, The Pacers take their last and final lead after a follow up basket made by Thaddeus Young on a missed shot by Paul George to give them the lead 102 – 100 Pacers.

But the King LeBron James once again delivered a made clutch 3 point basket to regain the lead 103 – 102 with 1:09 remaining, Kyle Korver added also made two free throws to up their lead to three 105 – 102 Cavs. While the Pacers has the chance of extending the game to overtime, but Paul, George missed a terrible 3 point shot that lead to another Foul and send LeBron James to free throws, James made 1 free throw to seal the game 106 – 102.

LeBron James finished the game to lead all scorers with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assist, while Kyrie Irving drop 28 points for the Cavs. While Indiana Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson leads his team with 22 points and Paul George was only held into 15 points.

The Cavaliers will now have to wait the winner of the Bucks and Raptors series, while waiting the Cavs players will have the chance to rest and even recover from minor injuries and be prepared to face the next opponent on the 2nd round of the playoffs.
