Typhoon Lando Latest Updates And Public Warning Storm Signals

Philippines – The country will be experiencing a rainy weekends, due to “Typhoon Lando” with international name “Typhoon Koppu” who got stronger as it nearing the country.

Storm warning signals has already raised in 37 provinces that will be affected by the Typhoon including Metro Manila.

As of  4am October 17, Typhoon Lando, was sighted at 15.7°N, 124.7°E and it continues to move 335 km East of Baler, Aurora, with a strength of Maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph and moving West at 12 kph.

Typhoon Lando is expected to make landfall over Aurora-Isabela area between Saturday night and Sunday morning.instead of moving  to West of  West Philippine Sea, the storm  turns heading North and it will takes almost two days to cross the Luzon mainland.

Based on the track of the various monitoring agencies , typhoon Lando, shows a slow movements in the land of the Northern and Central Luzon due to high pressure area and another storm in the pacific that affecting the movement of Typhoon Lando .

 Rainfall data of Weather Company, estimate a severe rain storm that will bring by typhoon Lando this weekend  which includes the provinces of  Baler, Aparri , Baguio , Cebu and here in Metro Manila.
